Stoughton Journal -- published by Community Newspaper Company, 33 New York Ave., Framingham, MA 01701. Has some interesting local news and information. They repeat a lot of the little filler articles.

Stoughton Pennysaver -- 27 Rose Glen St. Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 344-4833. Local advertising circular. It has a lot of town information in it and all the registration information for kids sports in town.

Dry Cleaning

Anton's -- 486 Washington St. Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 344-9931. Good service, friendly staff, never had a problem with them. They are a little more expensive, at least for laundered shirts (my main item), but worth the few cents extra. They also accept coupons from other dry cleaners. Laundered shirts $2.09.

Dry Cleaning Pros -- 346 Washington St. Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 297-7200. I've used them a few times, no complaints. Look for coupons in the Penny Saver!

Auto Repair

Monro Muffler and Brakes -- Two locations -- 550 Washington St, Stoughton Phone: (781) 341-3660 and 901 Technology Center Dr. Inside the BJ's Wholesale Club Phone: (781) 341-1932. THIS STOUGHTON LOCATION HAS CLOSED

B & D Automotive -- 200 Cushing St. Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 341-3000. Did a great job with repairs on my car and my wife's, charged a lot less than the estimate from Monro. Found them to be honest.

Windsor Tire -- 500 Washington St Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 344-8333. I've been using these guys lately for all my car repairs. They have loaner cars if you schedule in advance. I've been happy with their service and prices are okay.

Apex Auto Body -- 950 Washington St Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 297-0917. Did a great job on my car.

Route 138 Autobody -- 53 Tosca Dr. Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 297-7878. Did a nice job on my wife's car and they were very reasonably priced.

Theatres/Cinemas

Paris Cabaret and Starline Room Dinner Theater -- 49 Monk Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 297-7469. Have only been here for a piano recital, so I haven't had the food. They do have dinner performances. Looks like a nice little theatre.

Cinema Pub -- 807 Washington Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 344-4566. THIS BUSINESS HAS CLOSED. Showed movies, live Theatre events, and other performances. I saw the Governor speak here when he was a candidate. They also held birthday parties for little kids. They serve hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and popcorn and they had a beer and wine license.Hope this opens as something, it's a waste of good space in the town center.
