Dunkin Donuts -- Okay, this is just plain scary. There are eight Dunkin Donuts locations in Stoughton alone (that I know of). How many donuts can one town eat!! I prefer their coffee to Starbucks (see below), especially the flavored coffee choices. Not overly impressed with their donuts and the bagels are rolls with a hole in them (not that it stops me from buying them). They have stopped having real butter for the bagels which means I don't buy them anymore.

Good coffee (they have flavored too) and better (and bigger) Boston Creme Donuts (my personal favorite) than Dunkin' Donuts. This is a regular stop for me on Saturday Mornings now.

In Massachusetts you're not supposed to like both Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks (sort of like the Yankees of coffee). I happen to like both. I just have to be in the mood for a stronger cup of coffee when I go here. Their baked goods are usually pretty good, pretty fattening, and pretty pricey. No Boston Creme Donuts. There isn't a stand alone Starbuck's in Stoughton anymore. There is one inside the Stop and Shop on Washington Street and one inside the Target on Rt. 139 near the exit to Route 24.

These are the real thing, not the rolls with a hole they serve at Dunkin' Donuts -- Certified by the Rabbinical Council of Massachusetts. This place always gets the highest ratings in the local paper and the ratings are well deserved. They also don't use real butter, but these are worth bringing home and spreading your own butter. I like the Salt or Cissel Bagels best!!

I go here sometimes on Saturday mornings just for the portuguese rolls. They are the best I've found in the area. They're great with just butter. I've also had a few of their pastries and those have been good as well.
