Cheung-Du had a fire and closed there original location. They re-opened in the old Phat Boys Restaurant building. I think they moved up a notch for atmosphere. This is where we usually go for take-out or to eat in Chinese Food. Prices are pretty reasonable and the selection is good as well. Decent hot and sour soup -- an important element to me. Glad to see them back! They have a funky website with some kind of techno music blasting on it! Click the name above to get to the website.

Good quality Chinese food, but a bit pricey and crowded. I've eaten here and gotten take-out. Can be very busy on a weekend night.

THIS RESTAURANT HAS CLOSED.
Golden Palace Restaurant -- 300 Washington St, Stoughton, MA 02072
(781) 344-2827 -- This place is in the Stop and Shop parking lot. I've never been there. I never see any cars there. This is a real functioning restaurant, but I don't know how they stay in business. I haven't eaten there.
Chef King Restaurant -- 490 Washington Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 341-8838. Have been to this place a few times, especially when Cheung-Du was clased. I thought the food we got for take-out was very good. Good hot and sour soup. I'd definitely go back. It got a good review in the Globe. I hear they are getting a beer and wine license. May have it by now. It is right next to Anton's Cleaners.
Basil Leaf Restaurant -- 408 Washington Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 Phone: (781) 344-8998. This is a Viet Namese Noodle Bistro. It adds to the diversity of the Stoughton Restasurant choices, so I hope it's good and stays in business. It replace a U-Food, healthy fast food place that didn't last long. I've only order something here once and I couldn't identify some of the things in the soup, so it scared me off. Seems to be pretty busy, so I should give it anther try. They have an awful website. I think it is just scanned in menu pages.
There are a couple of other Chinese places I haven't tried and couldn't even find on the internet. When I'm out and about in town, I'll try to write down their information and get it up on the web.
